Experienced Flyers

SkyVenture Arizona

Train at SkyVenture Arizona in Eloy, where a 14-foot wind tunnel sits alongside Skydive Arizona. Build on the skills you already have with focused flight time and optional coaching.

Welcome Experienced Indoor Skydivers!

Use your tunnel time to focus on a skill you want to improve. Repeating a movement gives you time to notice how small changes in body position affect your flying. Our coaches work with individual flyers and teams, tailoring each session to your experience and what you want to achieve.
Our coaching covers belly flying through advanced freeflying. Whether you are refining a familiar skill or learning a new one, tell us what you want to work on when you book. We can help you plan coaching around that goal.
Being located at Skydive Arizona puts tunnel training and outdoor jumping in the same place. You can plan a visit around both, with time indoors to focus on body-flight skills you are developing in freefall.

Wind Tunnel Specifics

Our 14-foot-diameter flight chamber accommodates approximately four belly flyers or eight freeflyers. Planning a team session? Tell us how many people will be flying together and what you want to work on when you reserve your time.

Airflow

Four 400-horsepower fans draw air through the flight chamber, producing wind speeds of up to 160 mph. Our single-pass, non-recirculating design draws air through the tunnel rather than circulating it around a closed loop. An enclosed staging area and a stainless-steel trampoline floor complete the setup.

Gear

Bring your own flight suit and helmet if you have them, or use the gear available here. We provide flight suits, helmets, and goggles. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely beneath your suit, along with athletic shoes that lace up securely. Open-toed shoes are not permitted.

Experienced Flyer Rates

Walk-ins are welcome when we have availability, but we highly recommend booking in advance. We provide all the gear that you will need to fly. There are only two things you need to bring… yourself and sneakers!

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TUNNEL INSTRUCTOR AND TUNNEL COACH?

A tunnel instructor is provided for every session to ensure timely rotations, and overall safety. They oversee everyone flying in the tunnel only.

A coach is a dedicated person to brief and train prior to the flying session, be present for your flying time giving direction, and post brief your flying to prep your next session for improvements.
